"I studied at Clausthal University of Technology, completed my doctorate and am now working as a postdoc at the Research Center for Energy Storage Technologies in Goslar. The individual steps in my career built on each other, with the next step often arising organically from the previous one. Before the career coaching, it was difficult for me to realistically assess my professional opportunities outside TU Clausthal. During the coaching session with Dr. Mauth, we worked out together which qualities particularly distinguish me, which make me attractive to potential employers and in which areas I can develop further. We also identified job profiles that matched my skills and optimized my CV accordingly.

The unbiased view and valuable input from an external person from outside STEM helped me a lot to gain a more precise understanding of my own skills and career opportunities. The coaching also prepared me for the upcoming application phase. As everyone's life and career planning is individual, I am grateful to the Graduate Academy for offering personal and tailored coaching and will recommend it to others."
