Young scientists at Clausthal University of Technology are to be offered more service in career planning and international mobility is to be brought into focus. At this networking event, academics at different career stages will talk about their experiences with international mobility. Personal and professional hurdles and obstacles are to be discussed and, at best, overcome, and the benefits and joy of international mobility are to be emphasized. TU Clausthal scientists from various institutes and working groups will report "from the inside" on their international experiences. Personal and professional hurdles and obstacles are discussed and the benefits on different levels

- personal development,
- gaining experience in their own research,
- for their Curriculum vitae

The evening is a "collegial" exchange with professors experienced in international mobility and younger postdocs (peers) in combination with content-related input, e.g. on funding through the internationalization pool, other IZC instruments and external programmes. Larger funding programs (e.g. from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the DAAD, etc.) will be presented, as well as individual smaller programs.

With snacks, cold drinks and hopefully good weather, there will be the opportunity for personal exchange with experienced researchers and networking within your own peer group.
