Publishing your findings, be it your PhD thesis or your next article, is the currency of modern science. It may not be your favorite task, but it is a crucial one and plays a significant role in determining what research opportunities are open to you in the future. In this course, you will be introduced to the process of scientific writing. To deepen and apply this knowledge, in this course we will write a basic manuscript based on your research data (this can serve as the basis for a journal article).

The A-Z of scientific writing:

- Developing a clear main message
- Prioritizing the writing process
- Structuring and logically building the text
- Creating meaningful graphics
- Building a writing routine
- Collaborating with multiple authors
- Submitting and responding in the refereeing process

Bring your draft paper or research data to this workshop, from which we can create a basic manuscript (data from a master's thesis, for example, is also possible). During the course there will be various exercises in which you will apply what you have learned to your own text.
