This course will give you an insight into topics such as data management plans, re-use of research data and research data repositories.
In addition to the research data life cycle, the DFG checklist for handling research data serves as a roadmap, giving you an idea of how you can implement research data management in your day-to-day work and integrate it into a proposal.
Even if you are aiming for a different third-party funding provider, this is the right place for you. After all, all requirements for handling research data are based on the same research data management topics.
RDM is not the same for every scientist and not the same for every subject area, so please feel free to bring your questions and problems to the event.
The event takes place in presence. On request, participation can also be made possible in hybrid form. In this case, the access data for BigBlueButton will be sent by e-mail in good time before the event.
On Thursday after the event (21.08.2025) we will offer you an online workspace via BigBlueButton from 9 am to 3 pm. There you will have the opportunity to write a data management plan, chapter 2.4 of a DFG proposal or a README file based on your own work in practical exercises and with the support of the FDM team.
