Researchers have a fundamental right to freedom of research. In the context of scientific
research, personal data is often processed, and these data subjects
have a fundamental right to data protection.

This workshop will address what needs to be taken into particular consideration from a data protection perspective when handling personal data in
scientific research in order to comply with the fundamental rights of the actors involved.
