Basic knowledge of IT security is essential for everyone in an increasingly digitalized environment. This training course provides pragmatic tips for everyday life to minimize the risk of hacker attacks and thus protect your own data and IT infrastructure. It also provides an overview of typical risk situations and contains specific recommendations for dealing with IT security incidents.
The course focuses on the following topics:
- Relevance of IT security in everyday professional and private life
- Definitions of terms and presentation of typical threats and attack vectors
- Recommendations for increasing IT security in general (principles of conduct,
secure passwords, etc.)
- Specific recommendations for action for various scenarios
- What to do in the event of potential IT security incidents
- IT security in the workplace: secure handling of company data
- Overview of the data center's organizational and technical measures
