Dr. Stina Bauer

"I studied at Clausthal University of Technology, obtained my doctorate and now work as a postdoc at the Research Center for Energy Storage Technologies in Goslar. The individual steps in my career built on each other, with the next step often arising organically from the previous one. Before the career coaching, it was difficult for me to realistically assess my professional opportunities outside TU Clausthal. During the coaching with Dr. Mauth, we worked together to identify the qualities that make me stand out, the qualities that make me attractive to potential employers and the areas in which I can develop further. We also identified job profiles that matched my skills and optimized my CV accordingly.

The unbiased view and valuable input from an external person with no background in STEM really helped me to gain a more precise understanding of my own skills and career opportunities. The coaching also prepared me for the upcoming application phase. As everyone's life and career planning is individual, I am grateful to the Graduate Academy for offering personal and tailored coaching and will recommend it to others."
